Part three
Date:

Day
to go into the Irish films. I have learnt how I could use the films in the
Bilingual Music classroom mainly to analyse the sounds and music of the films,
all of this working in groups and in a co-operative way.

Rewarding
and also funny day.
The
last three days have been hard for me. Overmuch Irish literature, overmuch
poetry… Beautiful but hard and not very useful for me. I have spent some days
with the feeling of not fitting anywhere.
Apart
from the funny stories that I and my classmates have written and the different
methods that we have learnt, today I have found the necessary strength to go
ahead with the course.

The
presentation about Irish music has been quite interesting. I have found some
topics that I will able to apply in my Music classroom. The traditional Irish
music with its Celtic features has some connections with the traditional music
of my region (near Galicia) and with a big part of our Ancient music, so I will
design some dissemination activities through the comparison of both.
The
achievement of the day. To have a fluid conversation with English speakers in a
noisy bar.

Before
the beginning of this day I though that the overview of all the presentations
was going to be boring and tedious but rather, I have learnt and enjoyed very
much.
The
actions about the talking statues and ‘One city, one book’ are suitable for our
village and maybe we would be able to do something similar in the context of
our Erasmus Plus project KA229 “Euroenvironments” which I am coordinating.
And
some colleagues have made use of some wonderful ICT Tools with amazing results.
